A long way from the Start.
Well here I am, 2 months, 8 days, 11 hours, and 15 minutes(according to my phone counter) till I start my journey and I find myself on the other side of the globe. Well they say before play must come work, so it’s work work work for me. There are some positives to this; I’m in a new country which is always great, the weather is always sunny, and since I have to be up at 5am everyday there are some outstanding sunrises.
Now it hasn’t been all work work work so that’s an additional surprise. I did get to swim in the Dead Sea and go to a spa. Let me tell you, do not open you eyes, taste your arm after, or have any kinda cuts before you jump in. Trust me, it’s no good. It was quite beautiful though, more than I expected. The rocks on the coast are coated with salt which was pretty. It was kinda unnerving seeing this large of a body of water without a single boat on it. Guess people don’t want their boats to rust out while they are in the water.
The spa was fantastic and perhaps I indulged too much on the fantastic food and drink but hey, how often do you go to such a sacred area like the Dead Sea?
I also got to visit Amman which was kinda a flashback to my living in India. At least when it comes to driving, the free-for-all, whoever is in front wins type of driving brought me back to 2008 and I got a little stress out on the road. We also visited a Roman castle Qasr Azraq, which was built due to the nearby wetland. It was interesting, especially how they built it from so long ago. And let me tell you, sure doesn’t look like a wetland anymore.
On the way back home, we saw some camels so of course I wanted to stop and pet them and see if I could ride them.
I’ve been here now for about 45 days and everyday it seems harder and harder. I catch myself day dreaming about my trip coming up and I’m sure watching all of these kiteboarding videos isn’t helping the matter. This is the first time I’ve ever written a blog or made a website so I’m unsure how to proceed. There’s not that much to do where I’m at and I don’t get out much so I have been spending most of my free time working on this so everything is still a “work in progress”. Any suggestions please leave a comment because I am always open for help and please bear with me while I find my pace. Hopefully I get out more and can find more things because I do have a bad case of SSDD.
On the subject of the blog/website, I am in the process of opening an Instagram account and plan on putting most of my pictures on there. My YouTube channel is going and I’m slowly working on my video editing skills. If there’s anything else I should be doing, let me know. Thank you for letting me share with you.

Best part: Dead Sea spa, oh so so nice.
Worst part: Gotta be the food, so hard to eat healthy.
Favorite song of the blog: Hmm this one is hard, been finding so much new music. I have to say its Runaway (U&I)
